Keep your Hair Nourished and Healthy with this Raw Raspberry Cake

This decadent cake is not just a treat to be savored, but a delicious way to add valuable hair-loving nutrients into your diet. Your hair is not just taken care of with shampoos and natural treatments, but fed with the quality foods you eat. This cake is rich in many vital nutrients and it looks and tastes amazing.

Sweet, delicious raspberries will impart a wonderful shine to your hair. Dates are packed with vitamin B and iron, both which protect you from hair loss and encourage healthy, strong hair. Carob powder is a strong source of vitamin E, which is important for strong and healthy locks. Vanilla encourages a healthy scalp and soft, silky hair.

You will need to gather the ingredients for this four layer dessert. Each layer is processed one at a time and added to the spring form pan.

For the bottom layer use 100 grams (or 3.5 ounces) of hazelnuts and 100 grams (also 3.5 ounces) of dates which have both been hydrated overnight. Also, you will need 3 tablespoons of carob powder. Put all of these ingredients into your blender and process. You will need to add some water. When everything is well-mixed, press it all into the bottom of the spring form pan and place the pan into the freezer while you prepare the next layer.

Next, it’s time to prepare the first cream layer. Take 100 grams (or 3.5 ounces) of raw cashews that have been soaked for at least six hours, the juice from one lemon, 2 tablespoons of honey (or sweetened to your taste), 3 tablespoons of coconut oil that has been melted in a bain-marie, 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract (or the seeds from one vanilla stick) and a little water. Place all the ingredients into the blender and process until creamy and smooth. Remove the pan from the freezer and pour this next layer into the pan. Return the pan to the freezer.
The next cream layer will consist of 100 grams (or 3.5 ounces) of raw cashews that have been soaked for at least six hours, 300 grams (about 10.5 ounces) of raspberries, 2 tablespoons of honey (or to your taste), 3 tablespoons of coconut oil that has been melted in a bain-marie and some water. Process until mixed thoroughly. Try to allow enough time for the first cream layer to harden to ensure the layers do not mix.

Now you will make the mixture for the fourth layer. Add 2 tablespoons of psyllium husk, (which is rich with beneficial fiber that will reward you with protection against hair loss), 200 grams (or 7 ounces) of raspberries, 2 tablespoons of honey (or to your taste). Blend thoroughly and pour over the second layer of cream after allowing it to harden.

Place the finished cake into the freezer and allow it to harden overnight. For added decoration, place a few whole raspberries on top for decoration and place into the refrigerator after removing it from the pan.
