There’s no reason whatsoever to deny yourself a luxurious raw treat that will feed you and your hair with nutrients that look good, taste good and are good for you. This recipe for a Raw Vanilla, White Chocolate with Cherries cake will be the talk of your next dinner party or gathering with friends. They will learn the secret to why your hair is so healthy and shiny.
The proof is in the fresh ingredients found in the cake. Raw cashews provide many vital nutrients your body and hair need to be healthy. Iron, copper, zinc and manganese are just a few of the health-boosting benefits from raw cashews. One of today’s superstars, the coconut, has a long list of highly beneficial reasons to incorporate it into your diet every day. Coconuts provide heart healthy fats that are known to lower cholesterol and help reduce blood pressure. Raw, unprocessed honey retains all of the vital phytonutrients, vitamins and enzymes and is delicious as well. These delicious superfoods, as well as the others in this sumptuous recipe will tantalize your taste buds and feed your locks as well.
Start by soaking 250g (or 8.8 ounces) of raw cashews overnight. You will also need to melt 6 tablespoons of cold-pressed coconut oil in a bain-marie so as to not overheat and destroy vital nutrients. You will also need 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and 4 tablespoons of honey, or sweetened to your preferences. These ingredients will be the basis for the vanilla cream.
You will also need 300 grams (about 10.5 ounces) of fresh (preferably) or frozen cherries.
For the rich, white chocolate glaze, gather 50 grams (1.7 ounces) of cocoa butter, also gently melted in a bain-marie, 50 grams (1.7 ounces) of coconut milk, one tablespoon of honey (or sweetened to your taste) and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract. Now that you have all the ingredients gathered, it’s time to make the cake.
Since most blenders have a limited size, it’s easiest to process this recipe by blending everything one half at a time. This also creates the basis for a unique, two-layer cake. Start by mixing one half of the vanilla cream ingredients in your blender, saving the coconut oil for the very end. Add the coconut oil after the other ingredients have mixed well and process until the oil is completely incorporated. Pour the creamy mixture into a spring form cake pan and put it into the freezer so it may begin to set while you process the rest of the ingredients.
After the second half of the vanilla cream is processed and ready, take the cake out of the freezer. By this time, the first layer of vanilla cream should have started to set. Add in a layer of cherries. After smoothing out the cherries into a single layer, add in the second batch of the vanilla cream. Place the pan back into the freezer.
Now it is time to create the topping. This unique white chocolate glaze will put the final, delicious touch on your cake and will make it taste amazing! Take the melted cocoa butter, coconut milk, honey and vanilla extract and mix well into a bowl. When it’s ready, pour over the top of the cake and place the pan back into the freezer. Leave the pan in for just one minute because the chocolate hardens very quickly. You can now decorate the top. You can get really creative and put cherries into a lovely pattern and sprinkle fresh, shredded coconut on top. When you are done, place the pan back into the freezer.
Allow the cake to set in the freezer overnight, then put it in the refrigerator with 2-3 hours before serving it. Prepare yourself for many compliments when you share this cake with friends. This easy to make cake is packed with healthy nutrition that will feed your hair a rewarding diet.
