Tempting Avocado Mayo with Pumpkin and Sesame Seeds

Thrill your guests and whip up a delicious dip in no time with this easy recipe. This crisp, cool delight will satisfy your taste buds as well as give you many nutrients to keep your hair shiny and healthy. Pumpkin seeds are naturally enriched with vitamins including A, K, and B along with sulfur, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids. All of these vital nutrients are essential for the health of your scalp and hair. Sesame seeds provide a long list of amazing benefits for your hair including the prevention of gray hair, improving shine, encouraging growth and preventing hair fall.

Start preparing the mayo by using pumpkin and sesame seeds that have been soaked together in water for eight hours. You will need 50 grams (1.8 ounces) of pumpkin seeds and 15 grams (.5 ounces) of sesame seeds. After they are finished soaking, allow them to drain through a sieve and let them rest for an hour.

Using the flesh of one ripe avocado, the juice from ½ lemon, Himalayan salt, 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 2-3 garlic cloves, begin blending all of the ingredients until smooth. When well blended, add in all of the seeds until well incorporated.

This dip should be kept in the fridge and can be used with many delicious and crisp vegetables such as peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes or try them with spinach leaves for a tasty treat.
